The Becoming

Therapeutic support for couples through pregnancy, postpartum and the transition into parenthood.

PREPARING FOR BABY

Preparing for a baby usually means preparing the nursery, the car seat and the birth plan. It rarely means preparing for how much you will change: your identity, your relationship, your nervous system and the way you show up for each other when you're exhausted.

THE BECOMING

The Becoming is a six-session therapeutic series that makes space for the harder-to-prepare-for parts of this transition. These include shifting identities, communication under stress, the mental load, past experiences of loss or trauma, mental health, boundaries and the realities of early parenthood.

SUPPORT

Every series is tailored to you: your pregnancy, your history and what you need most right now. Support that comes to you. You can do The Becoming as a couple or on your own, whichever feels right for you. Sessions can also take place in your home. You don't need to find parking, arrange childcare or leave the space where you feel most comfortable. Support meets you where you are, literally.
